Hey!Β
Thank you for exploring my website and taking the time to get to know me better.Β
As a transgender and neurodivergent woman, I recognise the impact of healthcare inequalities on LGBTQIA+ and disabled patients. Using a 'transformative' approach to research design (Mertens, 2007), the experiences and opinions of patients are the beating heart of my work. At all stages of the research process, I seek to ensure that the voices of patients impacted by policy decisions are acknowledged and amplified.Β
I am currently leading a national research project seeking to improve healthcare for transgender adults (more information coming soon). This is in addition to my MSc research project investigating geographical healthcare inequalities for transgender adults in England.Β
In my spare time, I enjoy long walks through the countryside and animal photography.Β
If you would like to keep up-to-date with my work, consider signing up for my quarterly newsletter.
